My wife and I moved our home and business from Mühldorf (Bavaria, Germany), to St. Gallen, (Styria, Austria). We created the company Small Step Systems GmbH, which will be fully operational in the next two weeks. The company will continue the work that I did as a self-employed person (no incorporation) under the name Embedded Use.
As the name of the business changed, the name and the design of the website changed as well. You can find the new website under smallstepsystems.com. You will find all new content on the new website. The posts and pages from the old website embeddeduse.com redirect to the new website. I will shut down the old website in November or December 2026.
I also moved my newsletter Better Built By Burkhard from Substack (burkhardstubert.substack.com) to my new website. You find all the old and new episodes under the tag Newsletter.
